Rocket Fuel For Your Immune System

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 litre water
  • I tablespoon Decongestor Tea
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated tumeric
  • 1 slice lemon (skin on)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 6 cloves
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh chopped chilli

METHOD

  • Bring water to the boil and add honey, ginger, lemon, cinnamon stick, cinnamon powder, cloves, garlic and chilli.
  • Boil for 1 minute, then cool and place in flask. 
  • Drink the warm tea freely throughout the day.

Immune Fish Bites

Serves 4.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 green chilli, deseeded and chopped (I don't always put this in)
  • ½ cup chopped spring onions
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • 1 dessertspoon grated ginger
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon tamari
  • 1 dessertspoon fish sauce
  • 500 grams white fish fillets, eg perch, whiting or snapper

METHOD

  • Place all ingredients except fish in processor. Process until smooth.
  • Add fish and blend until the mixture is smooth.
  • Heat a little olive oil in a heavy frypan.
  • Dip a teaspoon in hot water and then scoop small dollop of the fish mixture into the frypan.
  • Shallow-fry until browned on both sides. Serve.

Immune Booster Soup

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 dried shitake mushrooms
  • 6 cups chicken stock
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons grated ginger
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 chicken breast, diced
  • ½ cup white miso paste
  • ½ cup sliced spring onions
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh basil

METHOD

  • Soak mushrooms in hot water for 10 minutes.
  • Place all ingredients except herbs in saucepan bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Slice mushrooms and add to soaking solution. Simmer for 3 minutes more.
  • Place in warm bowls. Sprinkle with basil and parsley and serve.

Antibiotic Syrup

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

Put garlic and onion on a deep plate or bowl, pour over enough honey to cover it, cover with cling wrap and place a weight on top (such as another plate).

Leave overnight, then strain the next morning – the honey will have become very liquid.

Mix 1 teaspoon with 1 teaspoon Decongestor tonic and take  3 to 6 times a day.
